John Gambale is Head of Professional Liability for Financial Lines and the Lexington Financial Lines Executive for the U.S. and Canada Region. "Lexington has always had a deep understanding of the specific risk exposures faced by individual business segments," John maintains, "and our commitment is to provide our customers with the insurance they require to build their businesses." John’s responsibilities include management of the Specialty Professional Liability businesses, which includes coverages for Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Media Liability, Accountants and Lawyers Malpractice, Architects and Engineers Liability, and the Network Security and Privacy liability portfolios underwritten through Executive Liability and Lexington Professional Liability. In 2009, John was named Head of the Private/Non-Profit Management Liability Division of AIG focusing on Directors & Officers, Employment Practices and Fiduciary Liability exposures for Private and Non-Profit organizations. John has held several roles of increasing responsibilities within Financial Lines including organizing and strengthening insurance programs for private equity firms and held the position of New York Regional Executive. John joined Executive Liability’s National and Commercial Divisions in 1999, underwriting both public and private Management Liability Products.
Prior to joining AIG, John spent two years with Swiss Re. He holds a BS in Resources Economics from the University of Vermont and an MBA from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University.
